Exploration Days are offered as a class field trip package to school administrators and teachers. If you are a student interested in this program please encourage your teacher to contact us or sign up for our Enrichment Weeks/Summer Program. Stony Brook CEWIT
Hosted at CEWIT in Stony Brook University's R&D Park. CEWIT is a state of the art facility, home to many cutting edge tech companies.

Program Instructors
The program instructors are a group of Sunrise Technology employees/engineers with direct experience designing, testing, and implementing the system. Leading instructor is Professor Dantong Yu, who has years of teaching and research experiences in the field of machine learning.

Program Structure
The program structure is centered around hands on activities. The students will be given lectures about machine learning and self driving concepts accompanied by an interactive portion where they can test drive RC robots, collect data, and train neural networks to autonomously drive them.
Morning: Short lecture on intro to self-driving, followed by a demo of self-driving and test driving robots
Lunch Break
Afternoon: After lunch students will dive into deep learning by creating and training their own AI to autonomously drive the cars. This is followed by another lecture on machine learning to see how it all works under the hood.
