For STEM & Non-STEM Students Alike

Whether a student is already passionate about computer science or simply curious about emerging technology, this program provides an engaging, beginner-friendly path into AI. As Sunrise Technology founder Yu Sun explains, “AI is such an up-and-coming buzz, and parents want students to be exposed to this field.” The program guarantees that exposure is meaningful, hands-on, and inspiring.

Small Classes, Individual Attention

We believe breakthrough learning happens when students feel supported. With a small class size and multiple teaching assistants, every student receives personalized guidance, accessible mentorship, and the opportunity to ask deeper questions as they explore advanced technology.

The Full Experience

Throughout the week, students move through a dynamic blend of professor-led lectures, guided computer labs, and an applied final project. By the end of the program, each participant deploys their own self-driving car model—an experience that transforms complex concepts into something tangible, exciting, and achievable.

Showcase Project for College Applications

Each student completes a fully functional, personalized self-driving car project—an impressive portfolio piece they can highlight in college or internship applications. The combination of university-level instruction and hands-on engineering experience stands out in an increasingly competitive admissions landscape.

The curriculum is designed and led by a tenured university professor with extensive experience in AI and autonomous systems. Students learn real-world concepts using real-world tools, building confidence as they master advanced material in an accessible, supportive environment.

What Can Students Expect?

The program structure is centered around lectures where the students will learn the relevant concepts and a lab portion where they can apply what they learned in a more hands on way.
